​​​​​​MINDFULNESS FOR WELLBEING - 6 WEEKS


This 6 week course is designed to give you the tools you need to bring mindful awareness to your life, de-stress and find some inner peace. Suitable for complete beginners or those who want to refresh their mindfulness practice. Frances has trained hundreds of people in Mindfulness for Wellbeing:


Over 6 weeks you will learn:


- How to meditate.

- What Mindfulness is and how to incorporate it into your life.

- Tools for dealing with stress, physical and emotional pain.

- How to get more from everyday life.

- How to live mindfully and thrive. 


Course requirements:

You don’t need any previous meditation experience, just an open mind, a willingness to give it a go and a commitment to carrying out a daily meditation practice for the duration of the course. This is a secular course, there is nothing in particular to believe and everyone is welcome to take part. ​

Overview: week-by-week

Session 1: Introduction; key concepts, nature of thought & beginning practice                                             Practice: Bodyscan

Session 3: Resistance to change, role stress, time pressure & mindful eating                                                Practice: Counting Progression

Session 4: Physical & emotional pain. Wanting things to be different.                                                           Practice: Re-scanning

Session 5: Expanding our mindfulness practice. Mindful walking.                                                                  Practice: Following the breath

Session 6: Changing your life.                                                                                                                          Practice: The practice of presence

Course materials:

You will receive access to extensive guided meditations for you to practice at home of varying lenghts (I can provide these on CD if preferable).

I will send you an email within 24 hrs of each session with a recap on tasks for the following week.

You are asked to bring a notepad (to be used as a meditation diary) and pen.

Please wear comfortable clothes, some people like to bring a blanket or mat for laying meditations, I provide meditation cushions and benches and many people like to sit in the chairs provided.
